WHAT SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN GRAPHIC DESIGN AND MARKETING? The Integrated Marketing Communications program at the University of West Alabama sparked such a passion for design and marketing in me. I got to work hands-on in every aspect of the field of advertising and marketing - and I fell head over heels in love with it. WHAT INSPIRED YOUR CAREER? During my internship as a college senior, I was able to shadow a graphic designer at an ad agency, and I knew immediately that I wanted to work in that type of environment. Working in an ad agency allows me to do everything I enjoy doing from design and photography to web design and social media. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME? As a tv and movie junkie, I spend a lot of time catching up on my new favorite show on Netflix while coloring in my adult coloring books. I also LOVE to read - you'll almost always find me with a good book in my hands. And most importantly, I have a special place in my heart for traveling. I have a really long bucket list, and I would love to see the world! NAME THREE PEOPLE - DEAD OR ALIVE - THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO HANG OUT WITH. 1. Christina Perri - I am completely obsessed with her and her music. She is such a bad ass, and I'd love to spend a day picking her brain. 2. John Green - He is my absolutely favorite author. He knows how to bring out such raw emotions with his words. 3. Norman Reedus - He plays Daryl on The Walking Dead. And no, I don't want to hang out with him because I have a crush on him like half of America. Everything I've seen about him has shown him as such a fun and hilarious person, so I just want to hang out with him - and maybe catch a ride on his motorcycle. WHAT ARE THREE THINGS MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU? 1. My veins run on coffee - and I'm proud of it. 2. My collections of books and movies could compete with the best. 3. I am a total Disney kid at heart. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD TO TRAVEL? I haven't done much traveling outside of the United States, but I love traveling to New York City and Washington, D.C. I guess that means I'm a city girl at heart, but I love every bit of it. IF YOU COULD LIVE IN ANY TV SHOW, MOVIE OR BOOK, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY? I have always been completely in love with the tv show, Gilmore Girls. I would love to live in the little town of Stars Hollow, be best friends with Lorelei and Rory, and eat breakfast every day at Luke's. IF YOU COULD SING ONE SONG ON AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE? If I had the pipes, I would definitely sing "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey. But probably the GLEE version, with all the catchy background voices. WHAT ARE THE TITLES OF THE LAST 3 BOOKS YOU READ, AND WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO READ THEM? 1. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes - I saw the advertisements for the movie based on this book, and I fell in love. This book quickly became one of my favorites. 2. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass - This series was referred to me by one of my dearest friends, and she was so right! 5 novels, 4 novellas and 2 love stories later, I finished the series. Kiera Cass invented this incredible world for us to live in full of royalty and love and sacrifice. 3. The Divergent Series - I have re-read this series every year since the first movie came out. And with the Allegiant movie coming out earlier this year, I, of course, read them again. It's one of my all-time favorites.
